At the Beach

This past weekend I went to the beach for a short vacation with family and friends.  When we planned the trip, I thought it would be great for all the children to having coordinating outfits out of Nanoo patterns and take group pictures on the beach.  It didn't quite go as planned with 5 of the 7 children under two years old but I did manage to get a few individual pictures.

Annalise Dress Pattern - Customer Creation

These were made by a customer using the Annalise Pattern. They show how versatile this pattern is and how it can easily be changed to look different.  Adding a bow or rick rack trim and using different fabrics changes the look.

Thanks to B for sending me these pictures.  Love the fabric choices and extras.

Annalise Pattern now available

The Annalise Pattern is now available in my Etsy Shop and Craftsy shop.  Order's go out tomorrow to some retailers and online pattern sellers.

Here are a few samples of some I made with a little something added to change the look.

I added a tab on the front of this one with buttons that match the ones on the back.

The instructions and pattern for fabric flower on this one is included in the Annette Reversible Sundress pattern.

I added some trim to change the look.

Annalise Pattern Tester Pic & Story

This is one of the tester pictures for the Annalise Dress pattern.  The tester has been saving her husband's uniform shirts to make something special out of for her daughter and decided to use them to make the Annalise Dress.  The dress isn't gathered as much as the pattern or as long because it was cut from shirts.  She wanted to have something for her daughter to represent her husband's time in the military and I think this was such a great idea.  She added embroidery on the bodice also for a little color.

I love things that are sentimental and have meaning and I thought this was perfect for Father's Day.

Thanks for sharing your special creation on your beautiful daughter.

New Pattern Coming

I started on a new dress pattern, making the first couple of samples.  It is a simple design, calf length with gathers.  I'm very excited about it and am in the process of getting fabrics to make more samples and start the instruction writing process.

Happy Easter

Wishing all of you a wonderful blessed Easter.

Here are my grandbabies in their Easter outfits.  The girl's dresses were made using the Marley Dress Pattern and I added Karen Capri's.
