This past weekend we did a photo shoot with some of my designs. Although it was warm out, the models were great. I am very blessed with many friends who have precious children to model for me.

I am trying to learn how to take better photos and had the opportunity to shoot some of the pictures. It was a great learning experience and much fun.

Thanks to Robert Montero Photography (robertmontero.com) and Roy Pino Photography (pinophotography.com) for a successful shoot and great photos.

APIL TBall

APIL (Ascension Parish Inclusive League) Tball season begin Aprl 10th and what a great start. Lots of new participants plus returning participants from last year. The field has been improved and by next week we should have a fence around it and dugouts.

We have been blessed with awesome volunteers. Ascension Catholic Softball team has been a huge help to the program. A couple of track students from St. Amant High School also joined us last week. One of the children's grandparent's also helped out running home plate .

It is so great to see the program growing and everyone enjoying themselves - children and adults. Here are a few pictures from out last couple of games.
APIL's field is at St. Amant Park on Stringer Bridge Road in St. Amant. Games are on Saturday Mornings at 10AM. Come join us. Only a few more games left.

Here are some pictures from the ladies who were testers for the David Pattern. They did a great job on the outfits but also had some great comments and suggestions for the pattern. My thanks to them.

Babysitting and APIL Event

I babysit for a friend's 3 little girls Friday night. The baby was a sweetheart. She slept most of the time. The two older girl's and I had fun watching Barney, playing ball and playing cards.

I gave A a deck of cards and the box while her older sister taught me how to play "Cadillac". She spent a long time putting all the cards back in the box one at a time. I was surprised she was so coordinated.

Saturday was Ascension Parish Inclusive League Fun Day. There were 3 large water slides, water balloons, water guns, frozen pops, cookies, drinks and lots of fun.
