Halter Dress for Toddlers

This is a very old Simplicity Pattern I've had for twenty something years. I remember my middle daughter wearing dresses I made from this pattern when she was a toddler. She is now 23 years old so that will give you an idea of how old the pattern is. It is still one of my favorites. It's fast, easy and can be made for everyday or dressed up for a special occasions.
This one was made with just the basic pattern without pockets.



I decided to change things a little on this one. I added a second gathered skirt, shortened, on top of the first and put some cute trim along the seam.
Here's the back. As you can see, I lined the top with the same fabric I used for the 2nd gathered skirt.
This one was made using the basic pattern but with some shadow embroidery on the bodice.
